Slot machines are vacuum cleaners, they suck out your money. The reason I gave a one star rating to the slots has nothing to do with Pechanga in particular, it's just that anyone who thinks slot machines are 'gambling' is an idiot. Eventually, this hubris of upping an already highly entrenched house edge will backfire and people will move on-line or stop going altogether.įirst of all, to put this review in context - I gamble an average of once a month, and I only play blackjack. Haven't been in a while but there is no way anyone should to go Las Vegas which has come out (May 2023) declaring they want to aim for only high end gamblers and get rid of what they apparently deem 'low end players'. I remain hopeful that they retain 3:2 blackjack and hopefully $10 min's. Us old timers appreciate that but the place seems like an electrical forest of loss.
However, they still seem to recognize the value of the old server based gaming machines (the old ones which require chips, etc) because they remain on the floor and that racket quad of quarter machines near the entrance of the casino (entering from the front desk).
Post Covid, Pechanga gutted the buffet area and replaced all that floor space with more server based gaming machines (those heavy, power sucking themed behemoths which costs the player up to 3% in percentage payback less then before 2007 and where paybacks percentages are now able to be remotely controlled).
